At IMA Concept, we believe that sustainable success is achieved not only through quality products but through responsible sourcing. Our social compliance policy is shaped by the amfori BSCI code of conduct and the ethical trade principles of SEDEX. We are committed to an ethical, fair and environmentally conscious way of working within our own team and at every link of our supply chain, and we expect the same from the production partners we work with.
Ethical Trade and the Supply Chain
We conduct all of our commercial relationships on the basis of honesty, fairness and mutual trust. We assess our suppliers against social compliance criteria, monitor their adherence through regular audits and guide them in their areas for improvement. We do not continue to work with business partners who fail to meet social compliance requirements.
Occupational Health and Safety
Providing our team with a safe, healthy and hygienic working environment is our priority, and we look for the same standards at the production partners we work with. Across our sourcing network we expect risk assessments to be carried out regularly, protective equipment to be provided in full, and workers to receive periodic occupational health and safety training. Emergency preparedness is an essential compliance criterion for us.
Our Core Principles
- We comply fully with amfori BSCI and SEDEX principles and continuously improve in line with audit results.
- We reduce the environmental impact of the products we source and expect water, energy and chemical use to be managed responsibly.
- We integrate waste management and recycling practices into our supply chain criteria.
- We act with zero tolerance towards bribery and corruption in any form.
- We keep our records accurate and complete, and act transparently towards our customers and audit bodies.
- We handle reports from stakeholders across our sourcing network on social compliance matters in strict confidence.
Transparency and Continuous Development
The social compliance performance of our supply chain is regularly audited by independent organisations. We regard audit findings as an opportunity to develop, and together with our production partners we implement corrective and preventive actions in a planned manner. This policy is communicated to our team and business partners and reviewed at least once a year.
